Welcome Cecilia!
Our Big Sky Watershed Corps Member Cecilia (Ceci) Welch has been with us since January 2014 and will continue to work with the CD through November 2014. She has a degree in Conservation Biology from the University of Wisconsin Madison. After her graduation in May 2013, she moved to Bozeman where she worked as a research technician for Montana State University in both the pollination ecology and weed ecology research groups. Ceci is passionate about conservation in all fields but wants to pursue water resource conservation in graduate school and in her future career. She enjoys outdoor recreation, cooking, traveling, and gardening in her free time.
During her time with the CD, Ceci will focus on assisting Jessica, the District Administrator and Watershed Coordinator, with various administrative tasks, conduct outreach projects and events with locals, and construct a large-scale map showing 310 Law stream jurisdiction in Park County. To find out more about the Big Sky Watershed Corps program and her projects with the Park CD, feel free to call at (406) 222-2899 ext. 114 or email at cecilia.welch@mt.nacdnet.net.
